First of a few photos paving the way into the Easter season. Or perhaps since Easter in culture today so easily implies bunnies & chocolate, I’ll rephrase that: Paving the way to the anniversary of Christ being betrayed by His own disciple, shedding blood, being whipped by a cat of nine tails, being spit on, wearing a crown of thorns, having nails placed through His hands and feet, etc. Yeah. Christ experienced more suffering than we’ll ever comprehend on Good Friday. So with that, maybe we should always keep ourselves in check that we aren’t here to spread the “I was saved by Jesus through a myriad of personal circumstances” story. Instead, we’re here to spread the Gospel & Good news that we were saved by the Cross and the Cross alone.
Your Testimony Doesn’t Save. You Cannot Save. Christ Saves.
John 14:6: “Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Amen.
