The time has come.
After a year of writing, I have finally finished my first book entitled The Undivided Man. I am indebted to God the Father, my closest friend, who instilled an idea in my mind and helped me see it through to fruition. Now I understand why authors get props for completing a book project. The determination and faithfulness required to do so is more than you might expect.
this book is short. it’s non-fiction. it’s an easy read. it features the biblical blueprint behind male kinship in Christ.
it is useful for building up men of God- to persuade a pursuing of the Father’s heart, to encourage knowledge of God’s Word, to lean in towards male camaraderie and to discover God’s design for intimate brotherly love while growing in faith together.
The Undivided Man is a beneficial resource for both infant and seasoned believers alike. skeptics or those curious about what it means to be a Christian would also benefit from this book. though it specifically targets a male demographic, it is of worth for spouses, family or friends who desire to help men foster identity in Christ and build Christian community. i am confident The Undivided Man is especially profitable for men’s studies or other men’s ministries.
In lieu of a ‘thank you’ page in the book, I’d like to give a few personal shout out’s here:
To my incredibly loving and supportive wife Christina– who walked with me step in step throughout this project. You graciously gave me the time to write when feeling inspired. You affirmed my creative gifting when all I wanted to do is doubt and critique myself. I love you, babe.
To Bruce Proc– who was been both humble and generous in this endeavor. This wouldn’t have been possible without your help. I’m blessed to have an undivided brother such as yourself.
To Liza– I have no words. You way outdid yourself with the cover design. Thank you for pouring your heart out through your artistic skill. Your prompt communication and professionalism does not go unnoticed.
To David Cathcart– thank you for your attention to detail and aiding me in bringing my book to life. Thank you for providing me with an edit that smoothed out those rough edges and allowed for a better flow of my message.
Lastly, I can’t not point out two of the most faithful, loving, God-fearing undivided brothers I know. Thank you, Andy Coyne and Larry Shaw, for your constant investment and encouragement in my life. It’s because of the model that you both set that I knew how to describe the undivided man written about in this book.
